Echo Pipe
Echo Time
You may use a general speed of sound or from a Web search and today's weather report and approximate elevation of the dish, calculate the speed of sound.

If the echo pipe is 100 feet long, how much time does it take your sound to return in this pipe?

Would you expect a flash of light to travel from the moon to the earth to take less time?

How about the time it takes to toss a juggling ball 16 inches high.
