TESTS: 6 tests are given as shown on the Math Dept's Course Syllabus for 100 points each, 5 or 6 project assignments for 200 points and comprehensive final for 200 points. No make-up tests may be taken. A missed test is a zero test score and late assignments result in loss of many points. Tests are graded and returned as soon as possible but certainly less than a week.
GRADES AND THE GRADE SCALE: The final grade is based on the 1000 points above plus any extra credit class or notebook points. This sum is divided by 10 for an average which is scaled to the following course grade:
